Resumen
El objetivo es analizar los procesos
territoriales de México desde la perspectiva
de la OCDE y evaluar el papel de
este organismo en el desarrollo regional
del país a partir de sus planteamientos
teórico-metodológicos. El autor propone
recentralizar el territorio haciendo actuar
las 32 ciudades capitales como espacio
estratégico nacional frente a las tendencias
centrífugas de la globalización, e incluir
en la región centro (DF, Querétaro, Hidalgo,
Tlaxcala, Puebla, Morelos, México) los
estados de Guerrero y Veracruz como
articuladores de ésta con los mercados
internacionales.
Abstract
The article analyses the territorial rocesses
going on in Mexico from an OECD perspective,
and to evaluate the role of such
organization in the economic development
of the country starting from its own principles
and methods. The authors proposal is to
recentralize the territory inducing the 32
capital cities to act as a strategic national
space before the centrifugal trends of
globalization, and to include in the central
region (the Federal District, Queretaro,
Hidalgo, Tlaxcala, Puebla, Morelos and
Mexico) the States of Guerrero and Veracruz,
too, acting as links between the former and
the international markets.
